Macarthur Gardens North

Client: Landcom
Scale: 1,200 apartments

Situated adjacent to Bow Bowing Creek in Sydney’s southwest, Macarthur Gardens North’s location had physical constraints such as riparian and stormwater discharge requirements and traffic volume constraints on adjacent roads, affecting the extent of development and the integration of the landscape visions and water management strategy.

In addition, undergrounding overhead high voltage lines and integrating the relatively steep slopes into the landscape required close consultation with project landscape architects to enhance the visual amenity of the Macarthur Train Station arrival plaza.

Our civil engineering design team provided Landcom with a well-coordinated design that will enable over 2,500 new people to live within a stone’s throw from Macarthur Train Station, Western Sydney University, and nearby shopping centres, schools, and hospitals.
